With three unique camps running throughout the 2025 summer, students have multiple opportunities to discover their passions, build on their strengths, and form friendships that last a lifetime.

or the safety and well-being of all campers, we require that each child has an appointed guardian if their parent is not in Malaysia during the BSS 2025 program. As part of our safeguarding commitment, the parent or guardian must be available to reach the camp within 3 hours if needed. If appointing a guardian is not possible, we’re happy to offer a guardianship service for RM1,000, ensuring your child has dedicated support throughout the camp.

Yes, we recommend that students enrolled in British Summer School have comprehensive travel, personal accident, and medical insurance that covers the full duration of their time in the program. Without adequate insurance, British Summer School cannot be held responsible for any losses, costs, or expenses arising from a lack of coverage. In such cases, parents or guardians would be responsible for any expenses incurred.

Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks for all our campers. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions ahead of time, and we will accommodate them.

Yes, campers are welcome to bring snacks, though we ask that they be nut-free to keep our camp safe for all campers.

To ensure a smooth and worry-free experience for your child, a refundable RM2,000 security deposit is required. This deposit serves as a safeguard for any unexpected incidentals or additional services, providing you with added peace of mind throughout the program.

Campers should bring essentials like a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, learning materials (pens and pencils), and multiple full sets of clothing to ensure they are comfortable, students are recommended to bring RM1,000 pocket money for camp. A full packing list will be available shortly after your child is onboarded.

To promote focus and enjoyment, personal devices such as tablets and smartwatches should be left at home. Mobile phones are allowed only during designated periods and will be collected upon arrival and returned on designated days.

Optional camp photo-sharing platform where you can see photos of camp activities and get updates on their progress. Campers will be encouraged to contact parents during electronic times during the designated days.

Yes, absolutely! Our British Summer School warmly welcomes students from all over the world. Each year, a large portion of our campers come from overseas, bringing diverse perspectives and experiences that enrich the camp environment.

Yes, we offer chaperone flight services to all major airport destinations, ensuring a safe and smooth journey for your child. You can book these services on our website or contact our team at hello@thegep.com. Our chaperones maintain a 12:1 student-to-adult ratio, and all staff are trained in safety protocols to prioritize student well-being throughout travel.
Please note that these packages require you to provide your child’s passport copy upon booking of chaperone flights; any delay in supplying this information may affect both the availability and the price of the chaperone flight package.

Your child will complete an English placement test before arriving at camp to ensure they’re placed in the most suitable class level. Classes are organised through a combination of the placement test and age group. Fostering friendships and a sense of community throughout their time at British Summer School.

Yes, each student will have the opportunity to enjoy top-class coaching through our sports partners: LALIGA Academy Malaysia, ECM Golf Academy, and Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. Students can select their preferred sport in advance of the camp, as spaces are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. This ensures everyone has a fulfilling experience in their chosen sport throughout the program.

British Summer School campers will participate in a variety of activities, including Immersive English Lessons, Professional Sports Coaching, Outdoor Adventure activities, team sports, arts and crafts, and many more. Each day is structured to provide a balance of academic, active, and creative activities.

We have trained medical staff on-site, as well as a fully stocked first aid room. Any visit to an external medical facility will be communicated with the parents. Please ensure that your child’s health forms are up-to-date so we can provide any needed care.

Safety is our top priority. We maintain small group sizes with a small counselor-to-camper ratio, follow strict protocols for all activities, and have a clear emergency procedure in place and 24-hour security on campus.
