  • English, Leadership & Communication

    The English, Leadership & Communications Camp, part of the British Summer School, is designed to help students strengthen their English skills through immersive learning and dynamic lessons. Beyond the classroom, students participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including elite sports training and enrichment programmes that foster creativity, teamwork, and confidence. This well-rounded experience ensures students not only improve their language proficiency but also develop essential leadership and communication skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.

  • English & Mouratoglou Tennis

    The English & Mouratoglou Tennis Camp offers students the unique opportunity to combine intensive English learning with world-class tennis training. Unlike the English, Leadership & Communications Camp, which focuses on language development alongside a variety of extracurricular activities, this programme is designed for students who are passionate about tennis and eager to elevate their game while improving their English skills. Training follows the renowned Mouratoglou methodology, a system developed by legendary coach Patrick Mouratoglou, which emphasises personalised coaching, strategic thinking, and mental resilience. This approach has been instrumental in shaping some of the world’s top players, including Serena Williams, and provides students with the same elite training techniques used at the highest levels of the sport.

  • English & ECM Golf

    The English & ECM Golf Camp allows students to enhance their English proficiency while receiving world-class golf training from AAA PGA Certified coaches. Unlike the English, Leadership & Communications Camp, which integrates language learning with a variety of enrichment activities, this programme is designed for students who are passionate about golf and eager to refine their skills on the course. Training emphasises personalised coaching, technical precision, and strategic play—key elements that have shaped top-tier golfers worldwide. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, students receive tailored instruction to improve their swing, course management, and mental resilience, mirroring the training principles used at the highest levels of the sport.

  • English & LALIGA Football

    The English & LALIGA Football Camp offers students the chance to develop their English skills while receiving top-tier football training from one of the most respected academies in the world. Unlike the English, Leadership & Communications Camp, which balances language learning with a range of extracurricular activities, this programme is tailored for students who are passionate about football and eager to refine their skills on the pitch. Training follows the esteemed LALIGA methodology, a system that has produced some of the world’s greatest footballers by focusing on technical excellence, tactical intelligence, and physical conditioning. Under the guidance of expert LALIGA coaches, students experience the same elite training principles used by professional academies, ensuring they enhance their game while also building confidence and teamwork.

British Summer School FAQ’s

  • or the safety and well-being of all campers, we require that each child has an appointed guardian if their parent is not in Malaysia during the BSS 2025 program. As part of our safeguarding commitment, the parent or guardian must be available to reach the camp within 3 hours if needed. If appointing a guardian is not possible, we’re happy to offer a guardianship service for RM1,000, ensuring your child has dedicated support throughout the camp.

  • Yes, we recommend that students enrolled in British Summer School have comprehensive travel, personal accident, and medical insurance that covers the full duration of their time in the program. Without adequate insurance, British Summer School cannot be held responsible for any losses, costs, or expenses arising from a lack of coverage. In such cases, parents or guardians would be responsible for any expenses incurred.

  • Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks for all our campers. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions ahead of time, and we will accommodate them.

  • Yes, campers are welcome to bring snacks, though we ask that they be nut-free to keep our camp safe for all campers.

  • You can register your child by filling out the online registration form provided and if you require assistance please contact our office for assistance at support@thegep.com.

  • If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. Full or partial refunds are available based on the timing of your cancellation, please refer to our T&Cs at https://thegep.com/termsandconditions.

  • To ensure a smooth and worry-free experience for your child, a refundable RM2,000 security deposit is required. This deposit serves as a safeguard for any unexpected incidentals or additional services, providing you with added peace of mind throughout the program.

  • Campers should bring essentials like a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, learning materials (pens and pencils), and multiple full sets of clothing to ensure they are comfortable, students are recommended to bring RM1,000 pocket money for camp. A full packing list will be available shortly after your child is onboarded.

  • To promote focus and enjoyment, personal devices such as tablets and smartwatches should be left at home. Mobile phones are allowed only during designated periods and will be collected upon arrival and returned on designated days.

  • Optional camp photo-sharing platform where you can see photos of camp activities and get updates on their progress. Campers will be encouraged to contact parents during electronic times during the designated days.

  • Our camp takes place at Epsom College in Malaysia. The site offers safe, spacious facilities with beautiful natural surroundings and top-class classrooms which are ideal for creating an inclusive and safe environment.

  • Our British Summer School is designed for children aged 9-17. We divide groups based on age and activity level to ensure a rewarding experience for everyone.

  • Yes, absolutely! Our British Summer School warmly welcomes students from all over the world. Each year, a large portion of our campers come from overseas, bringing diverse perspectives and experiences that enrich the camp environment.


  • Yes, we offer chaperone flight services to all major airport destinations, ensuring a safe and smooth journey for your child. You can book these services on our website or contact our team at hello@thegep.com. Our chaperones maintain a 12:1 student-to-adult ratio, and all staff are trained in safety protocols to prioritize student well-being throughout travel.

    Please note that these packages require you to provide your child’s passport copy upon booking of chaperone flights; any delay in supplying this information may affect both the availability and the price of the chaperone flight package.

  • To ensure an immersive and uninterrupted experience for all participants, we kindly request that parents and guardians limit visits to the designated arrival and departure days. This allows our students to fully engage in the program and make the most of their time with us.

  • We understand that both you and your child may feel a little nervous about attending British Summer School for the first time. Our supportive and attentive staff are here to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and settles in smoothly. Caring for each child is a great responsibility and one that we approach with dedication and care.

    At British Summer School, our mission is to provide enriching and exciting experiences during the holidays. To achieve this, we make sure our well-trained team is on hand to guide campers and help them feel at ease.

  • Your child will complete an English placement test before arriving at camp to ensure they’re placed in the most suitable class level. Classes are organised through a combination of the placement test and age group. Fostering friendships and a sense of community throughout their time at British Summer School.

  • Yes, each student will have the opportunity to enjoy top-class coaching through our sports partners: LALIGA Academy Malaysia, ECM Golf Academy, and Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. Students can select their preferred sport in advance of the camp, as spaces are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. This ensures everyone has a fulfilling experience in their chosen sport throughout the program.

  • British Summer School campers will participate in a variety of activities, including Immersive English Lessons, Professional Sports Coaching, Outdoor Adventure activities, team sports, arts and crafts, and many more. Each day is structured to provide a balance of academic, active, and creative activities.

  • We have trained medical staff on-site, as well as a fully stocked first aid room. Any visit to an external medical facility will be communicated with the parents. Please ensure that your child’s health forms are up-to-date so we can provide any needed care.

  • Safety is our top priority. We maintain small group sizes with a small counselor-to-camper ratio, follow strict protocols for all activities, and have a clear emergency procedure in place and 24-hour security on campus.

  • Our staff are experienced in helping campers adjust to new surroundings. We focus on creating a friendly environment and involve campers in engaging activities to keep them comfortable and happy.

  • At British Summer School, we use a structured behavior management system to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers and staff, while minimising any disruptions to our learning sessions. Our approach is built around clear guidelines, positive reinforcement, and constructive communication, creating a supportive and respectful environment for all.
